CCTV appeal as investigations continue into armed robbery at Woolgoolga

Police have released a CCTV image as they continue to investigate an armed robbery north of Coffs Harbour earlier this year.

About 4pm on Saturday 13 March 2021, a man – armed with a firearm – entered a service station on Solitary Islands Way at Woolgoolga.

The man allegedly threatened a female employee before stealing cash and leaving the area on foot.

He was last seen heading south along Solitary Islands Way.

The employee was not physically injured during the incident.

Officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District commenced an investigation under Strike Force Fenner into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As inquiries continue, strike force detectives have released an image of a man wearing a distinctive jumper who may be able to assist with inquiries.

He is described as being of a medium build, about 180cm to 185cm tall and aged in his 20s, wearing a distinctive black hooded jumper with the words 'Pablo' written across the back.

Anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the area between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on Saturday 13 March is urged to contact Coffs Harbour Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
