CCTV footage released following robbery in Strathfield

Police have released CCTV footage and are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery at Strathfield in July, NSW Police say.

Just after 3.30pm on Tuesday 10 July 2018, a man entered a bakery on Concord Road and produced a knife, threatening a staff member.

The man demanded money before being confronted by a customer and leaving.

He was last seen walking north along Concord Road.

No one was physically injured.

Investigators have now released CCTV of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The man shown is described as being mid to late twenties, about 170cm tall, of slim build, with black hair.

He is depicted wearing a black jumper, dark coloured long pants, a black scarf partially covering his face, and wearing socks and no shoes. He was carrying a black handled knife.

Inquiries are continuing.
