CCTV images released as robbery investigation continues, NSW

Detectives investigating the armed robbery of a hotel at Canley Vale in March this year have released CCTV images of a person they believe can assist with their inquiries, NSW Police say.

About 3.45am on Thursday 10 March 2016, three men with their faces disguised and carrying weapons, including a shortened pump action shotgun, forced entry to the premises on Canley Vale Road.

The trio threatened staff before escaping with more than $37,000 cash.

A 31-year-old Canley Vale man was arrested in April this year on charges of armed robbery and breaking offences. He is next due to appear at Burwood Local Court on Wednesday 10 August 2016.

Detectives are continuing their investigations and have today released CCTV images of a person they believe can assist with their inquiries.

He is a male described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, over 190cm tall with a medium build and brown eyes.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
