CCTV released after fourth collector car stolen - Central Coast

Police investigating the theft of three prestige vehicles from a Central Coast dealership at the weekend have released CCTV, after a fourth vehicle was stolen from a nearby automotive repairer yesterday.

About 12.15am (Monday 25 March 2019), two men approached a black 2010 model Holden Commodore HSV sedan parked at the repairer on Curringa Road, Kariong; with CCTV depicting the men approaching the car.

Later in the morning, a staff member noticed the vehicle was missing and notified police.

The car is one of only 13 of its type that were made with manual transmission, making it a collector's item.

Police are asking anyone who sights the vehicle, which has NSW registration plates DYI-84Y, not to approach it, but to instead contact Triple Zero (000) immediately.

Officers from Brisbane Water Police District are investigating the theft and a possible link to the theft of three prestige vehicles at Somersby the previous day.

As inquiries continue, police have released CCTV of both incidents and are appealing for anyone with information to contact Brisbane Water Police on 02 4323 5599 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence.
