Chair sought for Northern Prawn Fishery Resource Assessment Group

The Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) is seeking applications for the Chair position on the Northern Prawn Fishery Resource Assessment Group (NPRAG).

The Northern Prawn Fishery (NPF) operates in Northern Australian Waters targeting prawn species.

AFMA’s policy document Fisheries Administration Paper 12 (FAP 12) – Resource Assessment Groups provides information about the roles of RAG Chairs and their members.

The NPRAG Chair appointment will be from 1 April 2021 until 1 March 2024 in line with the rest of the RAG’s terms of appointment.
