Changes to Snowy Monaro library services due to Covid

Due to COVID-19, Snowy Monaro Regional Library will close branches and move to click-and-collect from Friday 7 January 2022, with the popular home delivery service resuming from Monday 10 January 2022. The Mobile Library service will remain suspended.

As enclosed spaces with high rates of interpersonal contact, our libraries are high-risk locations for COVID-19 transmission. In line with Council's Pandemic Plan, we are taking all necessary steps to keep our community and employees safe while maintaining access to services.

For community members looking to minimise exposure as much as possible, a Snowy Monaro Regional Library membership provides access to a huge array of online resources. Members can access eBooks, magazines and audiobooks for free with BorrowBox and Libby, hit the books with access to Gale and National Geographic online research databases, or learn a language with Mango Languages.

We would again like to thank our community for their patience and flexibility as we continue to navigate the global pandemic together. Restrictions, changes and safety measures are a necessary imposition to keep services running and to protect us all from COVID-19.
