A man will face court after another man was shot at Darlington Point at the weekend, NSW Police say.
About 9.35pm on Saturday 18 August 2018, emergency services were called to Kook Street at Darlington Point, after reports a man was shot.
When officers from Murrumbidgee Police District arrived, they found a 35-year-old man suffering a gunshot wound to his right buttock.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.
About 5pm on Sunday (19 August 2018), police arrested a 28-year-old man at Griffith.
He was taken to Griffith Police Station where he was charged with discharge firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, reckless wounding in company and fire firearm manner likely to injure a person or property.
The man was refused bail to appear at Hay Local Court today (Monday 20 August 2018).
