Strike Force Trident officers have charged a 19-year-old male for drug offences.
Around 11:30am on 16 December officers located the male who was parked dangerously on a street in Nakara. A strong smell of cannabis was observed and police conducted a search of the vehicle, Northern Territory Police say
During the search police located large clip seal bags of cannabis which totaled at approximately 100 grams. Additional drug paraphernalia was also located which included scales, scissors, a bong and chopping bowl. Police also discovered approximately $4350 cash.
The man was charged with:
- Possess trafficable quantity of schedule 2 dangerous drug
- Supply schedule 2 dangerous drug less than commercial quantity
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
