Charges Laid Following Fatal Noble Park North Crash

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a fatal crash in Noble Park North on 12 February.

Investigators have been told a rental truck was travelling along Jacksons Road about 3am and crashed into a pole.

A 47-year-old female passenger died at the scene.

A 32-year-old man from Forge Creek has been charged with dangerous driving causing death, fail to stop, fail to render assistance and drive while disqualified.

He was refused bail and will appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 14 February.
