Charges Laid for Tennant Creek Property Offences

Northern Territory Police have arrested three youths after a burglary at a residential premises in Tennant Creek yesterday.

Around 8am, police received a report that a group of offenders had unlawfully entered a property on Meyers Street, Tennant Creek.

Local police were deployed and two 17-year-old males and one 14 year old male were arrested without incident.

The trio have been charged with aggravated burglary and property damage. One 17-year-old and the 14-year-old were remanded to appear in court today and the other 17-year-old youth was bailed to appear in court on 24 of January 2024.

Police continue to urge anyone who witnesses crime or anti-social behaviour to make contact on 131 444 or Triple Zero in an emergency.
