Charges laid over drug supply in Sydney

A man will face court today charged with allegedly supplying drugs in Sydney’s CBD, NSW Police say.

Police attached to the Sydney City Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a hotel in Market Street, Sydney, about 7.30pm today.

During the search, police allegedly seized cocaine and cash.

A 28-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Day Street Police Station.

He was charged with supply prohibited drug of an indictable quantity; deal with proceeds of crime; and breach of bail.

The man was refused bail to appear before Central Local Court tomorrow.
