Willoughby City Council is celebrating local artists and makers with the Concourse Artisan Markets, a curated outdoor market in the heart of Chatswood.

Held at the vibrant arts and culture precinct The Concourse on the third Sunday of every month from 11am to 5pm, the markets bring the community together for quality shopping, entertainment, and discovery.

Mayor Tanya Taylor said the monthly markets are a great addition to Chatswood's growing reputation as a creative and cultural hub.

"There's something for everyone, from high-quality arts, crafts and accessories like ceramics, jewellery, fashion creations, soaps and eco-friendly items, to gourmet pre-packaged foods," said Mayor Taylor.

"It's a great way to explore something new, meet local makers, and enjoy a relaxing day out with friends or family."

The event also features live music and face painting, adding to the friendly, vibrant atmosphere. With around 40,000 people passing through The Concourse daily and more than 60,000 people travelling to Chatswood every day, the markets are helping connect local creatives to local businesses and customers.

"It's a fantastic complement to our much-loved Chatswood Mall Market and Spring Street Market," Mayor Taylor said.

"We don't want anyone to miss out on discovering the most interesting and unique local pieces, and there's still time for makers to get involved, too."

Council is currently accepting new applications for stallholders and encourages vendors supplying premium art and craft, wellness, and sustainable products to apply.
