We hope you had a chance to enjoy the Easter break. Consultation on the 2026 Basin Plan Review is continuing, with the MDBA engaging communities across the Basin.
The Basin Plan Review is the MDBA's key focus right now-a once-a-decade opportunity to ensure the Plan remains fit for the future.
We are continuing Basin visits across multiple regions, meeting with communities, First Nations people, industry and regional stakeholders to understand what's working and where improvements are needed.
This feedback is helping shape how we prepare for future challenges, including climate variability and changing water availability, while continuing to deliver environmental, social and economic outcomes.
Submissions close on 1 May 2026.
