Child abuse material and drugs seized in Glen Waverley

A 54-year-old man has been charged today after child abuse material and drugs were allegedly seized in Glen Waverley.

Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (JACET) and Prahran Family Violence Investigation Unit detectives executed a warrant at a Glen Waverley address this morning and allegedly seized a mobile phone, drugs and electronic storage devices.

A Glen Waverley man has been charged with nine offences including two counts of use carriage service to access child pornography, possess heroin, possess methamphetamine and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

He will appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.

The Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team is comprised of investigators from Victoria Police and the Australian Federal Police targeting the national and international influence of child sexual exploitation offences.
