Child exploitation investigation at Townsville

Police have arrested three people following the closure of Operation Tango Rosetta, an investigation into child exploitation in Townsville.

The three-month operation focused on a Townsville based syndicate of people who allegedly procured children for exploitation purposes over the past two years.

The child victims range in age from one month to 14-years-old.

A 64-year-old Kelso man, a 41-year-old North Ward woman and a 38-year-old woman from Condon have been arrested and are expected to be charged with multiple offences later today.

They are expected to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court tomorrow.
