Child Exploitation Material Charge, WA

On Monday 27 February 2017 detectives from the Child Abuse Squad executed a search warrant on a residence in Tuart Hill as a result of their investigations into child exploitation material.

It will be alleged detectives located and seized several electronic storage devices belonging to the man and a preliminary analysis of these storage devices identified over 1000 images and videos containing child exploitation material, WA Police say.

The 29 year old man from Tuart Hill has been charged with:-

•Possessing Child Exploitation Material;

•Distributing Child Exploitation Material and

•Intent to Expose a Person Believed to be under 13 years of age to Indecent Matter.

He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on 21 March 2017.

The man is employed as a teacher at a Catholic Primary School located within the Central Metropolitan Policing District.
