Child hit by car - Oran Park

A young boy has been airlifted to hospital after being hit by a car in Sydney's south west today.

About 5.10pm (Wednesday 29 July 2020), emergency services were called to Steward Drive, Oran Park, following reports a child had been hit by a Holden Captiva.

The three-year-old boy was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.

The driver, a 29-year-old woman, was uninjured. She will be taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Camden Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

As inquiries continue, anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam vision is urged to come forward.
