Childrens Week.png

Children's Week is a national celebration that recognises the rights, talents and achievements of children. This year's theme is "Everyone should know about Children's

Rights" promoting the awareness of children's rights under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).

To mark this year's Children's Week, Council's libraries will be hosting special story time sessions featuring The Right to Be Me, a picture book for kids about their

rights, written by Allison Paterson and illustrated by Amanda Letcher. Each child who attends will receive their own copy of the book to take home and enjoy.
