Paul Ramsay Foundation (PRF) is pleased to welcome Chris Last as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Chris brings more than 30 years of extensive experience in finance to the role, spanning the for-purpose sector and listed corporate environments both in Australia and internationally.
Chris has a distinguished career with a specialisation in finance and accounting, treasury, acquisitions and mergers, and risk management disciplines. His deep understanding of financial strategy and operational excellence will be invaluable as PRF continues working towards a future where people and places have what they need to thrive.
Prior to joining PRF, Chris held the position of General Manager - Corporate Services at Relationships Australia (NSW) Ltd, a leading counselling service dedicated to supporting safe and respectful relationships.
He also brings a wealth of experience from ASX-listed companies, having served as CFO of Blackmores, Symbio and NetComm.
Furthermore, Chris has a strong connection to the health and research sectors, previously holding the roles of CFO and Company Secretary at the Heart Research Institute, operating across their research laboratories in Newtown and the Charles Perkins Centre at the University of Sydney.
He holds qualifications as a Chartered Management Accountant (UK) and is a qualified Corporate Treasurer and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
PRF CEO Professor Kristy Muir said Chris Last's impressive financial expertise and his commitment to organisations with purpose made him an exceptional addition to PRF's leadership team.

Chris's appointment is effective on Monday 19 May 2025.
