City Backs Cats On Road To Grand Final Glory

The City of Greater Geelong is turning blue and white as Geelong Football Club charges toward the AFL Grand Final.

The Cats are on the hunt for their 11th AFL/VFL Premiership – their second in four years – following their thrilling victory against Hawthorn tonight.

Mayor Stretch Kontelj OAM

Our entire region is rallying behind the Cats!

This is the most exciting week on the football calendar. We're rolling out the blue and white everywhere across the city to back the Catters.

If you can't make it to the MCG, we're bringing the atmosphere home with displays, projections and a live site on the big day, so fans can experience the Grand Final buzz together.

With record membership of more than 92,000, including one-third from Geelong, the Cats remain at the heart of the local community.

Geelong Football Club CEO Steve Hocking
