City Of Casey Roads To Get Important Upgrades

Roads in the City of Casey will be improved as part of a major road maintenance program by the Victorian Government. The works are being managed by the Department of Transport and Planning and will take place during 2025-2026.

The program focuses on fixing busy roads that many people use every day. In Casey, several important roads will be resurfaced to make them safer and smoother to drive on.

Roads being resurfaced in Casey include:

• Berwick-Cranbourne Road (Berwick)

• South Gippsland Freeway (Hallam, Hampton Park)

• South Gippsland Highway (Tooradin, Cranbourne North)

Resurfacing means replacing the top layer of the road. This helps protect the road from damage and makes driving more comfortable and safer.

The program will also clean up rubbish and graffiti, cut back overgrown plants, and fix things like traffic lights and safety signs. These improvements will help make our roads cleaner, safer, and easier to use.

The Department of Transport and Planning chose these roads based on expert advice and data, making sure the work is done where it's needed most. There might be delays in traffic movement for residents as the important improvements are completed, please be patient.
