Council has made the difficult decision to cancel this year's Clayton Festival, scheduled to take place from Friday 25 – Sunday 27 February 2022.
We made this decision following consultation with key community stakeholders, event stallholders and local services. We are advised that it is not possible for community and businesses to support the event at this time due to COVID-19 case numbers, impacted staffing resources and current isolation requirements for COVID positive cases.
We're sorry if this causes any inconvenience but our priority is the health, safety and wellbeing of the Monash community.
We hope to be back for an exciting festival in 2023 and we'll be looking for ways to support our stallholders and performers in future events.
