Gang Crime Squad detectives are investigating an incident that occurred on Hammond Road in Cockburn Central on Thursday 15 September.
About 6:30pm, a male in his 30s was assaulted by a group of men outside a licensed premises.
The man received serious injuries and self-presented to hospital after the incident.
It is believed the parties involved have Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) links.
