Code Club For Children: Bayside

Young creators are invited to unlock their imagination at Code Club, a fun and interactive 6-week after-school program where children will learn the fundamentals of coding while designing their own games, animations and digital stories using the popular programming platform Scratch.

Designed for children aged 8 to 12 years, Code Club provides a supportive and engaging environment where young coders can build confidence, develop problem-solving and computational thinking skills, and discover how creativity and technology come together. Whether they're completely new to coding or keen to build on existing skills, participants will enjoy hands-on activities that make learning to code both accessible and exciting.

Throughout the program, children will explore Scratch's easy-to-use visual programming language, bringing their imaginative ideas to life while developing valuable digital skills for the future.

Participants will need to create a free Scratch account before attending. Information on setting up an account is available during the registration process.
