Cold pie in Dandenong South

A driver has been caught allegedly drink driving in Dandenong South this morning (16 September), Victoria Police say.

Dandenong police detected a 2018 Ford Ranger travelling north on Dandenong-Frankston Road about 12.20am.

The vehicle was intercepted and the driver, a 41-year-old Carrum Downs man, returned a positive blood alcohol content reading of 0.252.

It is believed the driver had travelled from the MCG after watching the Collingwood v Greater Western Sydney match.

Turns out after watching such a hot game, he is probably feeling more like a cold pie now.

His vehicle was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $983.00 and his license was immediately suspended.

The man is expected to be charged on summons with one count of drink driving.
