Collectable coins and memorabilia located in Calamvale, QLD

Police are appealing for public assistance to help find the owners of a collection of coins, memorabilia and cash located believed to be worth a considerable sum of money, Queensland Police say.

Officers were conducting patrols on Beaudesert Road in Calamvale on October 27 when they intercepted a vehicle for the purpose of a drug search.

Police allegedly located Cannabis and drug utensils in the vehicle, while a subsequent search of the boot uncovered a substantial amount of money including Australian currency, collectable notes and phone cards, foreign currency and numerous memorabilia coins.

Investigators are appealing for the owner or anyone who may recognise the collections to contact police.

A 57-year-old Tarragindi woman has been issued with a notice to appear for possessing dangerous drugs and possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence.
