Collie Health Service redevelopment is now complete with $4.1 million worth of upgrades finished at the revitalised health service.

This upgrade included a complete roof replacement, new ventilation, heating and cooling system upgrades and new kitchen and bathroom amenities.

This was on top of the facility's $14.7 million state-of-the-art operating theatre, that opened in May.

This brings the total redevelopment of the Collie Health Service to $18.8 million, completing the state-of-the-art facility.

The revitalised health service also now boasts a new waiting room and reception, consult room, bathrooms and patient recovery bays, as well as virtual care technology.

As stated by Health Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson:

"The Cook Government is committed to growing Collie Health Service so it will meet the needs of the community for years to come, and I'm very proud that we've delivered on that commitment.

"I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the community of Collie, as well as the extraordinary staff working at the hospital for their patience as we undertook these important works.

"They can all be extremely proud of their revitalised health service."

As stated by Collie MLA Jodie Hanns:

"The community of Collie and the surrounding areas will benefit from the contemporary facilities, that provide high quality care close to home.

"I'm proud to be part of this Government and delivering state-of-the-art facilities for our community.
