Northern Territory Police have charged two people with drug offences following the execution of a search warrant at a Darwin hotel.

Officers from the Drug and Organised Crime Division and Territory Response Group attended the hotel around 9:00am yesterday. A search of a room located 2245 grams of cannabis, seven grams of cocaine, $11750 cash and numerous items indicative of large scale drug supply.

A 17-year-old female and 18-year-old male were arrested at the scene and conveyed to the Darwin Watch House.

The 17-year-old was charged with:

• Possess Schedule 2 Dangerous Drug - Commercial Quantity

• Supply Schedule 2 Dangerous Drug - Commercial Quantity

• Possess Schedule1 Dangerous Drug - Less Than Traffickable Quantity

• Receive Or Possess Property Received In The Commission Of An Offence

The 18-year-old was charged with:

• Possess Schedule 2 Dangerous Drug - Commercial Quantity

• Supply Schedule 2 Dangerous Drug - Commercial Quantity

• Possess Schedule 1 Dangerous Drug - Traffickable Quantity

• Supply Schedule 1 Dangerous Drug - Less Commercial Quantity To A Child

• Receive Or Possess Property Received In The Commission Of An Offence

Police have opposed bail.
