Community forum to address online safety for youth

Are you a parent, carer, teacher, or youth worker? Or maybe you have another support role in a young person's life?

Come along to the E-Safety and Young People Community Forum at Lennox Head Cultural Centre next Thursday 22 June 2023 from 6pm.

The forum, presented by Positive Adolescent Sexual Health (PASH), will cover emerging trends and information that will help adults and young people navigate online safety.

It will be hosted by comedian, writer, feminist, social activist and mother-of-five, Mandy Nolan.

Speakers will include:

  • Kirra Pendergast, Founder and CEO of Safe on Social
  • Dr Melissa Kang, PASH Ambassador, Dolly Doctor Columnist, Medical Officer - Youth Health

These speakers will be joined by other specialists and young people for a Q&A panel.

There will be a performance from JK47, an Indigenous Australian rapper, musician, and activist from Tweed Heads South.

You can attend in person or tune in to the online livestream.
