At its Ordinary Meeting on Tuesday 24 September, Central Goldfields Shire Council adopted the Community Support Policy. This Policy provides a consistent, accountable and transparent process to determine the nature and level of support provided to the community through:
- Community Grants;
- In kind support; and
- Planning and Building fee waivers.
Community Grants Program Now Open
Central Goldfields Shire Council's Community Grants Program is now open, offering funds to support local community based organisations for projects and events that provide community benefit to the Shire. $20,000 is available in the 2019-2020 Community Grants program.
