Georges River Council is calling on local organisations, community groups, businesses, and residents to submit applications for the Community Grants and Micro Grants 2025–2026 Round 2.
Applications open on Monday 2 February 2026 and close on Friday 13 March 2026.
Community Grants support organisations to deliver projects that meet identified needs in the Georges River area and encourage community participation and inclusion.
Community Grants 2025–2026 Round 2 consists of two categories:

Small Projects – grants of up to $10,000 for projects delivered within one year.

Major Projects – grants of up to $25,000 for projects delivered over two years.
Micro Grants of up to $1,000 are available for residents, groups, organisations and businesses to fund projects that support community wellbeing, innovation and drive social change.
A total of $137,000 in funding is available this round.
Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg said, "Council is committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen community connections and enhance the wellbeing of our residents.
"Through this grants program, we continue to enable local organisations and individuals to deliver projects that create positive outcomes across the Georges River area."
To assist prospective applicants, Council will deliver information sessions. These sessions will cover eligibility requirements, assessment criteria, project design, budgeting, and acquittal processes.
