Hawkesbury City Council's community sponsorships have been announced with over $4,000 in funding to be provided.
The grants include a companion animal desexing program by Animal Welfare League Hawkesbury ($3000) and a school breakfast program at Richmond High School. The grants also include opportunities for other successful applicants to participate in sports competitions including a skateboarding competition and an all schools baseball team competition.
The Community Sponsorship Program provides the opportunity for community groups and individuals to seek financial assistance from Council. The Program encourages participation, access and building a connected, healthy, inclusive and resilient Hawkesbury.
