Concern for missing girl Keira

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Point Cook girl Keira.

The 16-year-old was last seen at Laverton train station about 4pm yesterday.

She may have boarded a train to Williams Landing.

Police and family are concerned for Keira as her disappearance is out of character.

An image of Keira has been released in the hope someone recognises her and provides information on her current whereabouts.

Keira is described as about 165cm tall, with a thin build, fair skin, hazel eyes and dyed black hair.

She was last seen wearing her school uniform (navy pin-striped pants, white blouse, and navy blazer) and was a carrying a navy-coloured school backpack.

Anyone who sights Keira is urged to call Altona Police Station on (03) 9392 3111.
