Concern for missing man Chris

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Chris.

The 87-year-old was last seen leaving a home in Mount View Road in Lalor, towards Kingsway Drive, on Sunday 27 February about 10am.

Police and family are concerned for Chris' welfare due to his age and as he has dementia.

Chris has no food or water with him and is known to frequent train stations or bus stops in Lalor, Thomastown or Merri.

An image of Chris has been released in the hope someone recognises him and provides information on his current whereabouts.

Chris is described as about 160cm tall, with a slight hunch in his posture, is balding with grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue flannel jacket, black trousers, a black cap and Nike runners.

Anyone who sights Chris is urged to call Triple Zero (000) or with information about his whereabouts is urged to call Epping Police Station on 9409 8100.
