Concern for missing man Steven

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Steven.

The 51-year-old, also known as Stevie, was last seen outside Gate 1 of the MCG along Brunton Avenue in Richmond on Sunday 3 April about 4pm.

Police and family are concerned for Stevie as he has an intellectual disability and requires medication.

It's believed Stevie may be in the vicinity of the MCG or may try to head home to Mount Dandenong Road in Ringwood East.

An image of Stevie has been released in the hope someone recognises him and provides information on his current whereabouts.

Stevie is described as having a solid build and short dark hair and was last seen wearing a Carlton football club dark blue shirt and Carlton scarf.

Anyone who sights Stevie is urged to call Triple Zero (000) or with information about his whereabouts is urged to call Melbourne East Police Station on 9637 1100.
