Concern for missing woman from Keilor East

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing woman Frances De Fazio.

The 46-year-old woman was last seen leaving a home in Surrey Drive during the day of Thursday 16 April.

Frances left the home in a 2014 silver Mazda 3 sedan, with registration 1BD 9ON with plans to run errands, and hasn't been seen since.

The last contact she had with her family was when she called them about 4.30pm on the day she was last seen. The call was nothing out of the ordinary.

Police and family are concerned for Frances' welfare as her disappearance is out of character and it is very unusual that she didn't come home and hasn't contacted family.

An image of Frances has been released in the hope someone may be able to provide information on her current whereabouts.

Frances is Caucasian in appearance, about 158cm tall with a slim build, has brown shoulder length hair and three tattoos; a horoscope 'Cancer' tattoo on her back, a 'Betty Boop' tattoo on her left and right foot and a 'Peace' sign on her right ankle.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie with white draw strings and was carrying a blue duffle bag.

Anyone who sees Frances is urged to contact Avondale Heights Police Station on 9337 6777.
