Conservatives welcome feds' Adani green light

Australian Conservatives Release

The Conservative Party has welcomed the Commonwealth Government's green light for Queensland's Adani mine.

Queensland Senate candidate Lyle Shelton said moves by some Liberals to risk leaving the decision to a potential Labor-Greens government were extremely worrying.

"That this went down to the wire on the watch of a Coalition government shows just how much influence the green-left has even inside the Liberal Party," Mr Shelton said.

"The Queensland Labor Government must now get on with approving the project so jobs and wealth can be unlocked," he concluded.

This evidence of pandering to the Greens from elements within the Coalition is another compelling reason to vote "1" for your Australian Conservatives Senate candidate at next month's federal election.
