Construction Begins on Kalgoorlie's New Industrial Estate

  • Civil works contractor Ertech has commenced works to deliver DevelopmentWA's latest industrial estate in Kalgoorlie
  • Stage 1 lots are expected to be released to the market in June by pre-sale

A huge step forward in the development of the Goldfield's economy has been taken with civil works now underway to deliver Stage 1 of DevelopmentWA's 138-hectare Yilkari Industrial Park in Kalgoorlie.

The Yilkari Industrial Park, formerly known as Anzac Drive West, is planned as a 138-hectare general industrial estate.

Located on the corner of Great Eastern Highway and Anzac Drive, opposite Anzac Drive Industrial Park, the new estate will ultimately deliver 120 general industrial lots.

Stage 1 lots will range in size from 2,500 square metres to 1.8 hectares and are expected to attract strong interest from both Western Australian-based and interstate businesses.

Thirteen lots will be made available by pre-sale next month. All lots will be serviced with power, water, NBN, and have direct access to the RAV10 heavy vehicle road network.

Titles are anticipated in July 2026.

The development is forecast to attract around $200 million in private investment and create 700 construction jobs over the next decade.

Once fully operational, the development will deliver 850 new permanent jobs and a $300 million annual boost to the local economy.
