The Palaszczuk Government is well underway with construction on the new $6.5 million Ormeau Ambulance Station.

In response to the increased demand for ambulance services and significant population growth in the Ormeau area and its surrounding areas, land was acquired at 115 Peachey Road, Ormeau for the development of the new station.

It builds on a record $1.944 billion investment in operational funding for Gold Coast Health, which increased by 9.6 per cent on the previous year to help meet the city's booming population.
