OECD annual inflation slows to 1.6% in September 2019

05/11/2019 - Annual inflation in the OECD area slowed to 1.6 % in September 2019, from 1.9 % in August mainly reflecting inflation in Turkey slowing to 9.3% in September from 15.0% in August. Energy prices continued to fall, by (minus) 2.6%, after (minus) 1.7% in August while food price inflation slowed to 1.5%, compared with 1.9% in August. Annual inflation excluding food and energy also slowed to 2.1% in September compared with 2.3% in August.
