Cops nab drink driver in St Kilda

A 65-year-old man had his car impounded after he was caught drink driving in St Kilda early this morning.

Prahran police intercepted a Ford sedan near a bottle shop on Chapel Street about 1.30am.

The driver returned a positive preliminary breath test and was taken back to a station where he returned a reading of 0.13.

The St Kilda man had his car impounded for 30 days and a 12 month loss of licence.

He is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and unregistered vehicle.
