The Corowa Local Health Advisory Committee (LHAC), in proud partnership with the Corowa Country Women's Association (CWA), is pleased to announce a community-focused pop-up immunisation clinic, "Lend Me Your Arm."

The event will take place on Monday, 15 June, from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm (during sale day) at the Corowa Saleyards Agricultural Hub.

As winter approaches, this initiative aims to make essential healthcare accessible to the local community, particularly for those in the agricultural sector. The Corowa Medical Clinic will offer free COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccinations to community members.

"Protecting our community's health is a team effort," says Anne Westcott, Corowa LHAC Chair and President of the Corowa CWA Branch. "By bringing the clinic to the Saleyards, we're making it easier than ever for farmers, agents and truck drivers to drop in, get protected, and get on with their day."

Attendees must bring their current Medicare card to receive their vaccinations.

Following their appointment, participants are invited to head over to the BlueGum Cafe to enjoy a free coffee, courtesy of Brocklesby-Corowa Branch NSW Farmers. This provides a great opportunity for community members to catch up and support a local business while looking after their health.

This initiative is made possible through the generous support of a Federation Council Community Grant, highlighting the council's commitment to local wellbeing and accessible healthcare services.

No bookings are required; this is a walk-in service designed for convenience. Protect yourself and your neighbours this season-lend us your arm!

The Corowa Local Health Advisory Committee acts as a vital link between the local community and health services, ensuring that the needs of Corowa residents are met with proactive and accessible health solutions.
