The Committee intends to examine the treatment of persons deprived of their liberty in the following countries:
- Albania
- Andorra
- Croatia
- Iceland
- Latvia
- Slovakia
- Switzerland
- Türkiye
Persons and organisations willing to communicate relevant information concerning the situation of persons deprived of their liberty in any of these countries are invited to bring it to the attention of the Committee.
In 2027, the CPT will also continue to carry out ad hoc visits to various countries, and, depending on the circumstances, it may decide to postpone one or more periodic visits to 2028.
