Council portfolios and committees revamp

Council has adopted new council portfolios, leading to a reshuffle of chair and deputy chair roles.

The new portfolios are outlined as follows:

Councillors have also been appointed to council committees and as council's representatives to external committees, boards, associations and forums.

Councillor Stephanie Asher - Mayor

The portfolios have been adjusted to better address council's different strategic areas of focus. They've been aligned with councillors' strengths, preferences and areas to learn.

I thank the council group for its work over the past two years in the previous portfolios. I look forward to seeing more passion and excellent work in the new portfolios over the next 11 months.
