Council providing residents with free sanitiser

Townsville City Council will be providing residents with free organic sanitiser – donated by Natroshield Organic Solutions – to assist with the clean-up following the unprecedented flood.

The sanitiser will be available to collect from Lou Lister Park until stock runs out with residents limited to 40 litres per vehicle.

Anyone wishing to access the sanitiser is asked to bring their own sealable container with a neck large enough to be filled with a hose.

The sanitiser is a natural sanitiser that is ideal for sanitising flood and mould affected houses, is already diluted, and is suitable for use indoors and outdoors.

All recovery information is available through the Emergency Management Dashboard at disaster.townsville.qld.gov.au.

Where: Lou Lister Park, corner Boundary and Brodie St (behind Officeworks)

When: 12pm – 4pm Wednesday 13 February, 8am – 4pm Thursday 14 and Friday 15 February (or until stock runs out)
