Cairns Regional Council has reappointed Sim Hayward as the Sister Cities Ambassador for Cairns for another four years.
Mrs Hayward was appointed to the voluntary position in August 2016, during which time she has enhanced Council's interactions with each of its Sister Cities.
Cairns has seven Sister Cities: Minami, Japan (since 1969); Lae, PNG (1984); Sidney, Canada (1984); Scottsdale, USA (1987); Riga, Latvia (1988); Zhanjiang, China (2004); and Oyama, Japan (2006).
