Council's administrative offices at Nowra and Ulladulla will be closed over the Christmas and New Year period, from Friday, 24 December 2021 to Monday, 4 January 2022 inclusive.
Council offices will reopen for business at 8.30am on Tuesday, 4 January 2022.
During the Christmas closure, residents and visitors can call the after-hours helpline on 1300 293 111, for emergencies, or browse our website for answers to common queries.

- Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre – Closed for renovations. Encore Café which is currently operating out of Nowra Administration Building, will be closed 24 December 2021 - 3 January 2022 inclusive.
- Shoalhaven Regional Gallery – Open Tuesday to Friday 10am - 4pm, Saturday 10am - 2pm. Closed Public Holidays.
- Waste and Recycling Depots – please visit the waste and recycling page prior to travel for the latest open hours for each Depot. During the December and January holidays each year yellow-lid recycling bins are collected weekly instead of fortnightly.
- Shoalhaven Visitor Information Services – Nowra and Ulladulla Visitor Information Services will be closed 25-26 December inclusive and public holidays. Please see google listings for the latest hours over the holiday period. For enquiries, call the Visitor Information team on (02) 4421 0778 for assistance or visit them in their temporary location at the Nowra Administration building, Bridge Rd, Nowra. Ulladulla Visitor Information Services is available in person at the Civic Centre, Ulladulla on the Princes Highway.
