Murray River Council is taking several of its monthly council workshops on the road this year, with Barham next on the list on Tuesday 2 December.
Council workshops are less formal than ordinary meetings, allowing councillors greater flexibility to spend time in local communities and hear directly from residents.
Mayor, Cr John Harvie said taking workshops to different towns brings important benefits.
"There's real value in getting councillors out into our communities and seeing local projects and challenges up close," he said.
"It also creates more opportunities for residents to speak with us in person."
Cr Harvie said the Barham visit is a chance to strengthen those connections.
"We'd love locals to join us for a relaxed lunch and a chat, we're always keen to hear what's happening in the community."
Barham will host the Council workshop on Tuesday 2 December 2025.
Community members are invited to attend a drop-in lunch with councillors at the Barham Recreation Reserve Pavilion from 12pm to 1pm for an informal meet-and-greet.
A light lunch will be provided.
