Council to consider major documents - East Gippsland

East Gippsland Shire Council will consider the adoption of five major documents next Tuesday 29 June.

Council undertook a deliberative engagement process in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 2020 to inform the development of the:

  • Community Vision
  • Council Plan 2021-25
  • 10 Year Financial Plan
  • Budget 2021/22
  • Four Year Revenue and Rating Plan

Through the deliberative engagement process, the community provided input to the development of these documents. This included community sessions held in five locations across the shire, online consultation and feedback sessions, information on Council's website and local media advertising, and the engagement of a community panel. A community survey was also offered for the Council Plan and Community Vision.

Council will consider the adoption of the five documents at the Unscheduled Council Meeting to be held on Tuesday 29 June at 6pm in Lakes Entrance. The meeting will be livestreamed on Council's YouTube channel 'EastGippyTV'.

Copies of the documents will be available on our website in the agenda for the Unscheduled Council Meeting after 1.00 pm on the Friday before the meeting.
