All community members are invited to come along to the final Council pop-up held at the Tanjil South Centenary Hall, on Saturday 10 December and speak with members of Council about what's on their mind.

Hosted by the Tanjil South Centenary Hall Committee, there will be light refreshments from 12:30pm onwards to mark end of year celebrations and the conclusion of the popular pop-up program for another year.

The Council pop-up program sees Baw Baw Shire Councillors and senior Council team members travel across the Shire, visiting local markets, attending major events, and meeting residents close to home.

Some of the places we visited this year include:

  • Thorpdale Mechanics Institute
  • Farm World, Lardner Park
  • Longwarry Market
  • Neerim South Winter Market
  • Drouin Craft and Produce Market
  • Warragul Farmers Market

The Council Pop-up program will be back in 2023 with more details provided on Council's website as they are are confirmed.

Quote attributable to Mayor Cr Annemarie McCabe

"We learn so much from conversations with residents that's why I encourage community members to come along to the Tanjil South Council pop-up and enjoy an afternoon tea and chat with us.

On behalf of the Councillor group, we've thoroughly enjoyed travelling around the Shire this year meeting locals and hearing all about their thoughts and ideas for making our Shire a great place to live. We look forward to continuing the program in 2023!"
